Both high schools in Duluth had a presentation yesterday called Rachel's Challenge. Rachel Scott was the first person to be killed at the Columbine High School shooting in 1999. Since then, millions of people have heard her story and some of her ideas about ways to make a difference in the world. She had 5 main ideas in her code of ethics. It's all right here at Rachel's Challenge.
I spent a good part of the school day crying yesterday, which is not my favorite thing, but I'm hoping that it will change the culture of our school and make a positive impact.
