Quirky Christmas

I was just thinking about all of the holiday traditions that folks have and how we hold on to them so tightly (at least I do). What's funny is how quickly you can add something in. For instance, last year, my mom and I went to a vigil for the homeless on Christmas Eve. It was not a cold day, but after standing outside for 30 minutes (just 30 minutes!), I was chilled to the bone. We're going today and hoping to add to the crowd. New tradition.

Now, what to add this year? What quirky traditions do you have that aren't straight out of some Hallmark special?

Movie of the Day: Edward Scissorhands. They had some "unique" fun.
