I think I'm in denial that Christmas is coming. I have no concrete plans for getting my annual letter written. My tree is safely in the garage (yes, it's fake). My outdoor lights are next to the tree. Hmmmm.... Luckily, it isn't December yet. That can be my excuse for one more day.

Movie of the Day: Elf. Where is he when I need some paper snowflakes?

Small white lights. I love them. Like stars in the sky.
I used to like just white because it looked more elegant. But the colored ones definitely get more "ooh"s and "aah"s from my three-year-old.
Really, what is more important at Christmas, being elegant or making the three-year-olds happy?
Go with colored and maybe the cheese-y inflatable snowman!

White only for me.
I totally agree with Kim, however, that colored lights are more fun for kids. So for one more year I am hanging on to my elegant, classy tree.
But kids or no kids, I refuse to give into those weird gel stick-up thingies people put on their windows. Or those light mats that get thrown on bushes and stay in perfect squares.
I hate the evenly spaced mats of lights on the bushes.
I vote with Catharine!
I like both multi-colored and single colored (white, red, green, the hard to find blue). What I don't like is when single and multi-colored bulbs are used in the same display.
