I need to bribe some of my kids to do their work. In my eyes, it would take a big bribe because some of them know they have to repeat my class next semester and what they do now will not make a difference. However, I think Jolly Ranchers will actually work for some of them. So, I'm gonna give it a try.
Movie of the Day: Brokeback Mountain. They were jolly ranchers (at least for a while).

I had lunch yesterday with a friend I hadn't seen in awhile. I told her she looked great...that she had obviously lost weight. She said her husband offered to take her to Paris (she loves it there..having been there 3 times in the past few years) if she lost a certain amount of weight and and extra $1,000 for spending money for every additional 5 pounds over the original weight loss. Talk about motivation! Or bribery!
