Becca, with regard to London, go to all the places you have heard about. Palace, Westminster Cathedral, Tower of London, take a walk or a cruise along/on the Thames. There are art galleries to go to. You must go to a pub or two. I guess you wouldn't eat fish and chips, but that's traditional. There are guided walks which are quite good--like a Dickens' walk.
My advice? Be sure you have the time off in advance...couldn't resist. I agree with catharine that you should see everything you've ever heard about because this could be the trip of a lifetime.
Clench it, Scrapper! I was just lucky I wasn't ordering tickets from a padded room back then. Weren't you going to send out a "Mistakes I've Made The Past Two Weeks" Link?
