Food

For some reason, Duluth is lacking in some of the major restaurants that are in the Cities or even Fargo. Some think that's a good thing; Duluth has unique places to eat and is less cookie-cutter-esque. Some think that it might be nice to have a Johnny Carinos, Buca di Beppos, or even a Buffalo Wild Wings or a Chipotle.

Hmmmmm....

As long as we have cookie cutter
Applebees and Olive Garden, I'm all for the unique, independent
restaurants, that give us a local
flavor. That reminds me I have a gift certificate for Scenic Cafe
on the North Shore that expires the end of this month...I hear that is a unique place. -- Linda

Forget the lack of chain restaurants. You don't know how good you have it. Did you know there is actually a group on Facebook called "There ain't nothin' like Duluth water"

It truly is a good life you lead (smile). If however you want to advocate for a nice chain restaurants in your town, my vote is for Chipotle. Their burritos are crazily huge but yummy!
